CNC Machining by ProEngineering: FAQ

  1. Does Pro Engineering specialize in prototype CNC machining only?
    A: Even though we are known in our industry for processing complex requests like quick turnaround prototyping, with our state-of-the-art, high-speed production equipment we are also a high volume production company that handles large orders from many clients.

  2. We are located in San Francisco Bay area. Can you deliver machined parts to our factory?
    A: Yes, we can expedite the transport of final goods in North California and to any part of the world. We have worked with companies in Japan, Mexico and China.

  3. Can you handle multiple-process manufacturing, like machining, anodizing, assembly, etc?
    A: Yes, we are one stop machine industrial unit. We work in partnership with verified vendors that are ISO certified and we inspect them annually to ensure they continue to be up to our standards.

  4. What kind of industries do you serve?
    A: We're headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, right in the heart of the world-renowned Silicon Valley so we serve customers that are involved in the semi-conductor and computer, medical devices/equipment, aerospace, military, electronics and automotive industries. But we are not just limited to just these types of businesses for machining. Some of our clients are world's largest high-tech firms. Occasionally we also assist local educational institutions with their engineering development projects.

  5. What material can you machine?
    A: We work with many types of Stainless Steels, Aluminums and plastics (i.e. Teflon, Delrin, Acetal) and many more.

  6. What max dimensions can you handle?
    A: We have Mills that are capable of running parts that cut the size of material 30” x 60” x 35” and Lathes that turn parts up to 25” dia. There are extended amounts of machines in our facility.
